Pumpt Advertising was created by Dominic Sutton 6 years ago (January 2003), who could see that while the physical provision of work or ‘product’ was okay and fairly available elsewhere, the value of an integrated and seamless package at no extra cost was something desired but rarely available to the average kiwi business.
Dominic says, “The commitment to our customer is simple: right thing, right place, right time, at a fair price, integrated with excellent advice in order to get the best result available. We strive to do this with consistency while also enjoying a laugh with our customers when appropriate.”
This formula seems to be working with average annual growth in revenues in excess of 30% kept at a sustainable level. With new clients such as Subway, Health and Herbs International, Corporate Consumables and Godfreys moving to Pumpt in recent times, the focus has been on maintaining a system that is robust with people that care about what they do and fit the ‘Pumpt culture’.
“We have been careful to grow in a controlled way”, says Dom. “Our business, with all the ‘doing’ aside, is about trust. I guard the trust placed in us by our customers very carefully. We need to show value in what we do, every day.”
And what about the name, where did that come from? “The brand emphasizes the fact that we are involved with Direct Response advertising and Direct Marketing,” says Dom. “Plus, it is how I feel when we are helping our clients increase sales and improve their profile, hence our phrase ‘We Get Business Pumping’.”
