The winner of the Enterprising Manukau Excellence in Exporting Award is Argenta Limited, whose 108 staff supply the global animal health community with innovative products and services.

Argenta receives the Award from Matthew Horton (Chair of the Board for Enterprising Manukau).

Argenta researches and manufactures solutions for production animals, such as sheep and cattle, as well as companion animals, primarily dogs and cats.

Argenta was formed in August 2006 with an aspiration to combine cutting-edge research and world-class manufacturing.

From its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Auckland, Argenta supplies the global animal health community with innovative products and services.

In October 2008, Argenta acquired AlcheraBio, a US-based clinical service provider.

This extended Argenta’s capabilities and provides an additional solution for its clients.
